The Hon`ble Supreme Court in “STATE THROUGH CBI VS T. GANGI REDDY | SLP(Crl) NO. 9573/2022” held that there is no bar in cancelling default bail on merits after the presentation of chargesheet.Default bail is bail granted to accused if the chargesheet is not filed within 60 days or 90 days as per the Cr.P.C from the date of arrest of the accused.
